Week 2: Music Week

We have begun our second week at camp!

Basil Kozak, directing the camp choir in 2009. Great to have you back with us, Basil!

Our music teacher visiting this week, Basil Kozak, has begun working with the campers both in and out of the Chapel.  For Chapel, he prepares the campers with the liturgical music of the day and assists them with learning to sing the Creed and the many other beautiful songs in the services.  Many campers participate in the service by reading the prayers and Psalms as well.

Basil also helps the counselors with weekly skit practices. He also makes the campfire fun on Monday & Friday especially fun by bringing his guitar and leading the sing-alongs.

This year we have a special treat, the Old Tyme Fiddlers will be visiting camp Tuesday afternoon. We have a great time learning many songs and different types of music!
